The business initially offers sanitary, plumbing and heating installations. 1950s Augusto Castagnetti responds to emerging market demands by laying the foundations for a future range of diversified plant engineering services. 1970s The company becomes a leader within the Italian plant engineering market, a position it still holds today. 2001 The company is acquired by Omega Concept, a Gaz de France group company. 2008 Gaz de France would merge with the Suez Group, creating GDF SUEZ later ENGIE, a global player in energy and the energy transition. 2009 The company incorporates Nuova Sipe – a company also part of the Omega Concept group – and changes its name from Augusto Casagnetti S.p.A. to Omega Concept Impianti e Sistemi S.p.A., therefore OCIS. 2022 OCIS is acquired by Equans, a Bouygues group company and a global leader in multi-technical services.
